In a revealing streaming interview, former Tan Biónica leader Chano Moreno Charpentier surprised by recounting unknown details of his youth before achieving massive fame. According to the Argentine News Agency (NA), in a conversation with Migue Grandos, the musician recalled his years as a waiter alongside renowned pastry chef Damián Betular and confessed how that environment, marked by excesses, ended up being the stage for one of his most difficult relapses. During the show, Chano went back in time to his 26 years, an era when musical success was still a distant dream and he was making a living in the gastronomic industry. Betular was not», recalled the musician. The musician explained that he had taken that job after completing a rehabilitation treatment, managing to stay sober for a long period. However, the pressure of the environment and constant exposure to substances eventually broke his resistance: «I arrive and I'm clean working there as a waiter for about three years, and one night I couldn't take it anymore», Chano confessed about the moment he relapsed into addiction. Chano was blunt when describing the atmosphere of the place. «Where I was, it was tremendous. It was worse than a rock show, everyone was consuming». What few knew was that in that same restaurant, he shared work hours with one of today's most beloved television judges in Argentina. Chano described his former kitchen colleague with humor and nostalgia. «He was already a character like he is today on Olga; even when anonymous, he was already like that. It was incredible», the singer recounted, highlighting that Betular already had a striking personality back then. «You always arrived and he was already talking, like doing a monologue», the musician recalled with laughter, contrasting his more discreet profile with the chef's energy.
